Uninsured? Coverage May Be Available

Health Insurance

Several states have reopened their health insurance exchanges for a short time. Elsewhere, enrollment may be possible for those who lose their jobs.

If you’re looking for health insurance, either because you lost coverage or because you’re worried about impending medical costs, you may have an opportunity to get covered under a “special enrollment period.” Availability will vary depending on the state. Details of the special enrollment period vary, and time is limited, so you’ll need to act quickly.

Note: Individual health insurance is not available through this insurance program, but coverage through various public exchanges may be.
